RACE INFORMATION
RACE INFORMATIONThere will be three rounds in the bracket: the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and the final. There will be a brief break between each round. Two teams will be racing against one another at the same time. The team(s) with the shorter finish time wins the round.COMPETITOR INFORMATIONPlease arrive at least 15min before the race so staff can do a quick headcount of present teams! Please form a light party with your team. When it's your turn, the emcee will request to join your party so they have an easier time tracking you during the race. Before the race, each team will be briefly introduced on the concert stage at (X: 36.9, Y: 31.5). You don't have to do anything, but this is a good opportunity to rile up the crowd and get them rooting for you!Your team will be assigned a sponsor, who will give you your team color "uniform" (it's dye) and a little gift for each player. They'll be cheering you on!AUDIENCE INFORMATIONPlease avoid crowding around the relay points (in front of the cannons, slides, and finish line) during the race! This will help the competitor easily see the next person in the relay. Please also avoid crowding around the designated "quiet area" at (X: 36.9, Y: 29.0) during the event for our guests who prefer having a bit more space! Please avoid using /shout and /yell excessively, as our emcee will be using one or both to be better seen in a fast-moving chat. It's part of the performance!Audience participation in the form of cheering, rallying, and general sportsball-stadium-like energy is actively encouraged. Just please do not antagonize the competitors or event staff when you do it.Rep your favorite team's color by dyeing your gear, using the /cheer variants, or buying some sparklers from the Moonfaire Trader at (X: 37.0, Y: 29.3)!
